Concessionary One Card

AFFORDABLE ACCESS TO POSITIVE HEALTH AND FITNESS IS WITHIN YOUR REACH

The One Card and the Residents Card offer discounted rates for customers experiencing reduced income due to unemployment, illness or disability.  It’s affordable, easy to apply for, easy to use and gives you the freedom to take part in sport and leisure activities.

If you receive any one of the benefits listed below, you can apply for the Concessionary One Card.  To process your application, you are required to provide evidence of the benefit(s) you are receiving.  (You may have to request appropriate evidence to support your application.)

How do I get a card?

Pick up a Concessionary One Card application pack from :

The Heights Leisure Centre, Sandown

Medina Leisure Centre, Newport

Waterside Pool, Ryde

You can also email the One Card team at onecard@iow.gov.uk or call them on 01983-823352 during office hours and we will post a pack to you.

Complete your application form and indicate your option and payment method.  Choose from registration, monthly or annual payment or direct debit.

Take your completed application form, together with evidence of your entitlement to one of the qualifying benefits to The Heights, Medina Leisure Centre or Waterside Pool.  Or you can post your application to the One Card Team, Cultural and Leisure Services, The Guildhall, Newport, Isle of Wight PO30 1TY.

Your application will be forwarded to the One Card team for validation.  The Concessionary One Card application will take up to seven working days to process from receipt at Leisure Services head office.  It cannot be issued on the day of application.  Once your eligibility has been validated, we will contact you to make arrangements for you to purchase your One Card.
